Matthew 3:17 And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
Jesus knew exactly who He was because His Father told Him He was His Father, and He was “well pleased” with Him. This solidified Jesus and rooted and grounded Him in His purpose upon this earth. Our identity comes to us exactly the same way. We must get alone with our Father and seek to hear His voice for ourselves personally. Allow Him to declare who you are and what He thinks of you! It will set the course of your life and solidify your purpose upon this earth!
